Note: FundPi runs inside the Pi Browser. Login and payments require the Pi environment.

Getting started

  1. Open FundPi in the Pi Browser.
  2. Tap Login with Pi and confirm in the Pi dialog.
  3. After login you’ll see your Pi username in the header. Use it to open the profile menu.
Tip: If something looks stale after an update, log out and back in to refresh your session token.

Discover projects

Explore the latest and popular projects from the home page or use the search to find a topic you like. Tag chips may be provided to jump into themes quickly.

Content

  • Cover image + gallery (swipeable on mobile)

  • Goal fields: goal_pi (primary), goal_usd (optional)
  • Creator badge (username)

Actions

  • Donate (enter amount in Pi → Pay)

Projects can be pending (awaiting review), approved (public), or rejected (with a reason). Creators see the current status on their Profile → My Projects.

Donations (Pay with Pi)

  1. Tap Donate on a project and enter the amount in Pi.
  2. Approve the Pi dialog. FundPi authorizes and completes the payment server-side.
  3. When confirmed, your donation is stored with a payment_id / txid and appears in your profile under My Donations.
Security: Payments run through the official Pi SDK in the Pi Browser. Your session is validated on the server via a bearer token.

Create a project

Step 1 — Account info

  • Fill in your contact details (name, email, phone, country). Country is shown as “Country 🇨🇭”.
  • Save — this creates/updates your profile record.

Step 2 — Project details

  • Title and long description (tell your story)
  • Goal in Pi (goal_pi), optional USD goal
  • Tags (simple keywords)
  • Upload images (first image becomes the cover; you can control order via index)

After submit

  • New projects are pending review before going public.
  • If rejected, you’ll see a rejection reason and can edit & resubmit.
  • Approved projects become visible to everyone and can receive donations.
Editing: Go to Profile → My Projects to update text, goal, or images.

Your profile

Account Info

  • Edit name, email, phone, and country (with flag).
  • Wallet address (from Pi session) may be displayed for transparency.

My Projects

  • List of your projects with status (Pending / Approved / Rejected).
  • Open a project to edit content or manage images.

My Donations

  • All your donations with timestamp, amount (Pi), and links (where available).
  • Each record ties to a payment id / txid after completion.

Favorites

  • Quick access to projects you saved.

Likes, comments & favorites

Abuse is not tolerated. Be respectful. Moderation tools remove spam or harmful content.

Project images

FAQ & troubleshooting

Login doesn’t work.

Make sure you’re inside the Pi Browser and logged into Pi. Then reload and try again.

My donation timed out.

If the payment dialog expired, start the donation again. If you authorized but don’t see the record, it will appear once the network confirms completion.

Images don’t upload.

Check your connection and file size. Try a different image format (JPG/PNG). If it persists, contact support with your username.

Project rejected — why?

Open the project in Profile → My Projects. You’ll see a rejection reason. Update accordingly and resubmit.

I don’t see the featured project.

If no featured card shows, the team may not have set one yet. You can still discover projects via the list or search.
